Jane Chapman, Santa Barbara native. Graduate of the University of California Los Angeles, 2005. Jane creates in her Mission Canyon studio, nestled  against the foothills of Santa Barbara. She is inspired by her love of humanity and the rich terrain of her hometown, the Channel Island dotted horizon of the Pacific Ocean and the soaring peaks of the Santa Ynez Mountains. Oil, mixed media and collage are mediums she uses to explore abstraction, the wonders of our natural world, the condition of the human spirit and self inquiry. Jane values compassion, curiosity, love and connection and sees herself as a forever student in pursuit of these pillars.
